Through Wyoming and Montana
Summer rain feeding the tributaries
Connecting universal Prana

Its current moves in winter
Cutting a silent frozen landscape
Each snowflake joins the Sanskrit
Softly landing on moonlit shapes

Mountains melting into it
Feed the afternoon daydreams
Submerged the mind abandons the present
Resurfacing in the tidewater upstream

Trickling sounds of water
Catch my wandering thoughts
Creating a floating composition
Then plunging not to be caught

Revisit ancient paths
Washing karma clean
While todays new deeds cast
